Region 5

It was once told that the Great Creator wanted to give a gift of strength, beauty, and longevity so he created the Rocks. Mother Earth was so happy that she hid some all around her. Only upon seeking could the Peoples find all of rocks beauty. To remind us of Rocks beauty Mother Earth made the ground of such beauty that all would remember the beauty buried and springing forth all around them. This too is like Region 5’s influence on OCIP. A firm, strong, lasting, influence of such beauty and longevity that it is never lost; for we see it’s influence all around us. The strength has been felt from the first days. Is it any wonder that such strong leadership has come from Region 5, Ones like John Larabie whom led both this Region and OCIP to greatness, or Present Vice, Chief Mona Denomme who leads OCIP by her wisdom and compassion, etc. Now, just like the great hidden Rocks by Mother Earth being made visible, new Leadership is arising in Region 5’s Governor, Tim Denomme. Just like how every rock has its own shining glory all of these Leaders brings different beauty to OCIP, but each one brings Strength for OCIP. This is what we needed in the Past and what we Certainty need in the Future. So as we look out at Region 5, let us view its strength, beauties, and longevity to make us all ready to face the future.
