When one has a heavy job, it is important to have many hands. This is the same with important positions, like the Chief of OCIP. The Chief has always had the help, wisdom, and strength of the Vice Chief. OCIP has been without a Vice Chief for a long Season. But this ended with Ken Deluco stepping up to help as Interim Vice Chief.
Yes, He has a great path to follow as OCIP has been blessed with many Great Vice Chiefs, however Ken has a wealth of knowledge and Wisdom to draw upon. This will help both lessen the work load of the Chief and it will help chart into the Future. Although Ken is only Interim Vice Chief until the next election he plans to chart the Future of OCIP. Ken’s Planning strengths of all aspect from Action planning, Personnel gathering and management and Accountability, etc. will be the impetus to both build OCIP and to face the uncertain path before us.
