It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our well-known Indigenous elder, Jim Smith, who left us on Friday, May 2, 2025. 

He was a revered figure in the community, celebrated for his wisdom, teachings, and tireless advocacy for Indigenous rights and traditions.
