Governor Region 6

Danielle Denomme:  Since earning my paralegal license in May 2021, I’ve dedicated my career to amplifying Indigenous voices and fighting for justice where it’s long overdue. As a Certified Gladue Writer, I work to ensure that Indigenous clients are seen, heard, and understood within the legal system—bringing cultural context and compassion to the forefront of advocacy.
Before stepping into the legal world, I served at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Medicine, supporting the Canada Research Chair in their mission to advance groundbreaking research. That experience taught me the power of precision, collaboration, and the importance of representation in every field.
Today, I proudly serve as Regional Governor 6 for the Ontario Coalition of Indigenous Peoples (OCIP), where I continue to champion equity, accountability, and healing. My heart is deeply tied to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) movement, and I remain committed to honoring their stories and demanding systemic change.
